Candidate for
Board Member; Midway City Sanitary District

Joy currently serves as President of Westminster Historical Society and is a member of Kiwanis of Westminster, Barber City Womens Club, Friends of the Librbay, and Patrons of Goldenwest College.

Joy has served on many committees in Orange County but now limits her service to Midway City Sanitary District which serves the residents and businesses in Westminster and Midway City. She also serves as a Director on the Orange County Sanitation District.

As Founder/Director/Treasurer of Delta Savings Bank in Westminster Joy served 7 years as a Board Member.

Spending time with 7 sons, 3 granddaughters and 7 grandsons does not leave much time for hobbies. Cooking for family is a favorite way to relax followed closly by reading and gardening. Widowed in 1975 when youngest son was 9 years of age Joy owned and operated Ace Tool Company an industrial business in Long Beach for 19 years. Busy years as head of the household while serving on Westminster City Council. Joy became adept at time management.

As Executive Director at Westminster Museum Joy spends a part of each day at Blakey Historical Park caring for Henny & Penny (2 black hens)who are a major attraction for the several hundred 3rd grade students who visit the big, red, barn and museum each year as part of their local history study.
