I oppose the Toll Road!I adamantly oppose the to the 241 Toll road extensions, which are unjust in all shapes and forms. The anti Toll Road movement has shown that when people come together and participate in democracy change can occur. I oppose the Road because it will negatively affect the environment and city demographics. More importantly, I oppose the Road because of its unjust impact on the land of Native Americans. Native peoples have been under attack for over five centuries and this Road would continue those attacks by ravaging Native burial grounds. The end of 241 Toll road extensions is long overdue; let's hope that the U.S. Secretary of Commerce votes with the Coastal Commission in putting an end to this Road once and for all. |
