From overcrowded classrooms to golden handshakes for overpaid administrators, our District has lost sight of its fundamental commitment to educating our students and making sure that our tax dollars are spent in the classroom and not on overpaid consultants.

It is time for change.

The interests and concerns of students and parents, not administrators, must be at the forefront of our educational agenda. I am committed to improving our District. I believe fiscal transparency and parental involvement are important keys to the success of our schools.

I will improve our schools by fighting for: class size reduction and keeping our smaller school sites; a full time Gifted and Talented (GATE) Coordinator; better compliance with federal laws for disabled students; increasing educational opportunities that prepare our students for work and college.

Finally, I am committed to working closely with police and local governments in our District for the many issues that arise including student safety and traffic congestion.
