I believe that the current city council is more willing to fight against the people instead of fighting for them
I believe that city council had the opportunity to pave every street in the city while they had income from the utility tax. They chose not to pave the streets, and now they want a tax increase to pave the streets

This city council has increased the code enforcement staff, while cutting anti gang and anti drug programs, and now they want a tax increase to bring back these programs.

I believe that people are suffering and cutting back on their personal budgets due to the economic situation. The city council does not seem to care and they want a tax increase.
