My biography includes the constant pursuit of education and desire to learn. I attended Santa Ana Schools for elementary and intermediate education--Sierra Elementary and Willard Intermediate. I graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1989. After graduating, I attended Chapman University and graduated with a BA in English in 1995. My graduate work includes graduating with a MFA in Writing and a MA in English in 1997, where I achieved the honor of Graduate Student of the Year. I felt the need to pursue education further, so I entered the Educational Leadership program at California State University at Fullerton; I graduated with a MS in Education Administration in 2001. My teaching and administration experience include teaching in the Alternative Correctional Education School System since 1997, where I was incorporated into a leadership role for seven out of the ten years. Moreover, I have been a college English instructor since 1998.
