Robert "Bob" Baker

Born: New Kensington, Pennsylvania

Married: 1981 to Pamela

22-year old son is Nicholaus, 20-year old daughter, Emily. Both son and daughter are San Clemente High School graduates.

Emily is currently attending Saddleback Community College.

Nicholaus graduated May 24, 2008 from the University of Laverne.

My Father worked in a steel mill in Pennsylvania for 42 years, and my Mother worked for the Social Security Administration for 25 years

A United States Navy veteran, I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1970. Designated a Naval Aviator in 1972, I flew the F-4 Phantom jet fighter II for 1,000 hours and 170 carrier landings.

Hired by American Airlines in 1978 and moved to California in 1979. We made our home in San Clemente in 1988 after living in Dana Point for eight years

Over the years I have been active in Indian Guides, Little League baseball, girls' softball, San Clemente High School sports that my children played.

I have also participated in and supported the San Clemente Educational Foundation, Citizens for Integrity in Development, Casa Romantica, and the Save San Clemente Open Space Committee.

Lousy surfer but I love it, somewhat more accomplished golfer, but I hate it!
