El Dorado County, CA | November 4, 2008 Election |
Candidate StatementBy Bill RandallCandidate for Director; Cameron Park Community Services District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I am not a politician. Like you, I am a concerned 15-year resident of Cameron Park. I have a business degree from SJSU. I have managed multi-million dollar budgets for the last 13 years, currently running a national corporation based in El Dorado County. The District has done a great job with emergency services, with an outstanding Fire Department. Our parks have never looked better. We have however recently committed to building and running a large community center. This is a great opportunity, but also a huge new responsibility. I have volunteered my time in various Cameron Park CSD committees and projects for the last 6 years. I have repeatedly volunteered my time where I believed I could help make a difference. As a past Board Member with the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce, and as the current Vice President of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce, I understand our current business climate. I have no future political aspirations. I am accepting no campaign contributions. I ask for your vote so that I can help ensure that our community center is built and run in a fiscally responsible manner, without sacrificing our emergency services or our financial future.
