About John Knight

As a citizen, elected official, and community volunteer, John Knight has given his time and energy over many years to serve El Dorado County. In these roles, he has helped to meet the critical needs of our communities and preserve our quality of life. Knight currently serves as an elected member of the El Dorado Hills Fire Board and was appointed to the El Dorado County Planning Commision by current Supervisor Rusty Dupray.

John is the only canidate that can provide oversight and an in-depth understanding of the voter approved General Plan. The General Plan is criticaly important in addressing legal requirements and for preserving the precious natural resources of El Dorado County. This plan covers land use, water, transportation, roads, business development, neighborhood planning including parks and recreational areas.
