The district is coming into an important and crucial stage in our modernization and new construction projects. Shortly we will be entering into a phase that will have a huge impact on our high school campus. During this `Red Zone' period we will be:

1. Constructing a new 9th Grade Campus to help reduce
the overcrowding at the San Leandro High School

2. Constructing new parking lot that will increase our
current parking capacity to 348 parking spaces which will
reduce the on street parking problems that our high
school neighbors have endured for years

3. Modernizing our Career Technical wing and classrooms

4. Constructing a new Arts Education Center on the high
school campus.

We need to ensure that the disruption to our students and the neighborhood is kept to a minimum and that all of the projects are completed on time and within their budgets.
