1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Russ Carnahan:

In his second term in Congress, Congressman Carnahan was appointed to leadership positions as Senior Majority Whip and Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee's Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight, working to protect our troops. He was also named to the powerful Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.


2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Russ Carnahan:

As Senior Majority Whip, Congressman Carnahan has worked to increase the minimum wage, eliminate President Bush's Tax breaks to big oil companies, lower interest reates on student loans, restore public safety, and reduce the price seniors pay for perscription drugs, among many other projects.
