WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ROBERTO FOR JUDGE

Not only have I litigated in both every day and complex cases, and participated in public and administrative hearings too numerous to list, I have advised agencies and administrative bodies including our own Superior and (former) Municipal Courts (I was the Assistant County Counsel assigned as primary legal counsel for our Courts for approximately 10 years, during most of the 1990s and early 2000s). I also have advised members of public and private boards, building and safety and elections officials, civil service, harbor, and planning commissioners, and others in government and the private sector.

Equally important, for six of the last eight years, I have been a party to multiple civil and probate actions and have gained a great appreciation for how clients and parties see the judiciary and its impact on their lives. I believe that experience will help me better explain and timely rule on matters, recognizing the impact it has on the lives of not only the attorneys, but more importantly their clients and families.

If appointed, I believe I can and will serve the people of this State, County, and Country with distinction, integrity, kindness, fairness, compassion, and intelligence, while also providing our local bench with the experience and understanding of the law that is peculiar to a seasoned government attorney--one who has advised many government agencies and officials, and has a solid expertise in areas of the law not usually found in most other candidates or applicants for the office.
