EducationBy Kris WangCandidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 22; Democratic Party | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I believe that education is the best investment we can make for the future of California. Budget cuts in education would unfairly sacrifice the quality of our future generations to compensate for our problems today. I am a strong advocate for quality funding and appropriate oversight for our schools. I believe smaller classrooms, diverse curriculum, and more support for faculty are fundamental for our students to become committed, engaged, and ready to meet the demands of life after school. I have two sons who have gone through the education system in our district + Challenger Pre-School, Faria Elementary School, Kennedy Jr. High School, and Monta Vista High School. I have been on school site councils, modernization committees, and more recently, the Fremont Union High School District Community Committee. With my experience, I am prepared to help take our schools to the next level. |
