I firmly beieve that it is time to take back Congress and make it accountable to the voters of the district. I will support legislation to do away with all earmarks. I will support legislation requiring all candidate that raise or donate money during an election to have 50% come from the State or District they represent. It is time to take the lobbyist out of the equation.

I will support legislation to do away with the arcane rules in Congress such as fillibustering and other procedures as a way to stall a vote on a bill.

I will put the needs of the country and the District first in all votes and legislation that I support.
