County Supervisor; Sonoma County; Supervisorial District 3

My long experience advocating on behalf of seniors, the disabled and disenfranchised make me uniquely suited to be your Supervisor. I have a history of getting things done. In 9 years as CEO of Council on Aging, I have raised millions for services such as Meals on Wheels and a state-of-the-art kitchen to serve in times of disaster. My 25 years in health and human services offers new leadership for a healthy, sustainable Sonoma County.

I will fight for health access for all. We cannot have any more for-profit hospital operators putting profits before the health of our population and must restore cuts to mental health funding.

We must combat global warming through alternative locally controlled energy, green jobs and strict emissions control. We must expand public transit, including the SMART train and bicycle lanes for livable communities. I amproud to have created the Take Back the Streets March and Rally to promote bicycle and pedestrian safety.
