I'm a married man. Married for 49 years, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I was born in Oakland California. My parents moved to the San Joaquin Valley in 1941 to our ranch in Stockton. I attended schools in Stockton and Escalon. I spent 8 years in the Air Force Reserve as a fire fighter, with an honorable discharge in 1962.

I started my career in farming and while doing so, worked in the grocery business for 22 years then finally worked full time in the farming operation.

After a time, I opened my own produce market in Tracy and eventually two other stores outside the area. Finally after many years of changing legislation, it made it more difficult to stay in business. I then decided to close down the stores and the farming operations. I call myself a retired business person becausse it was not worth the chance of losing more to stay in business.

In 1997 I went back to college to try a new career. I majored in communications and began a TV show called Citizen's Voice. To date I have produced 545 shows in less than 9 years. While doing that, I ran for different offices, continuing to try to bring some of my vision and experience to the political scene and office of San Joaquin Co. Board of Supervisors, 5th district.
