Carolyn Inmon is a native Californian. Born in Long Beach, California she was educated in the California public school system from Torrance K-12, El Camino College, UCLA, and California State University at Northridge.

She began her teaching career over 40 years ago and has taught almost every grade K-college. Her favorites are teaching in the Irvine Unified School District and teaching speech and running a speech team at Mt. San Antonio College where she has also been Honors Director.

Her record of community service is long and shows a caring for the community. Presently she is President-Elect of the University Exchange Club in Irvine and on the board of Crime Survivors. She also volunteers with United Interdependence.

She is active in the Republican party. She holds membership or associate membership in the 400 Club, Laguna Niguel Republican Women Federated, Tustin Area Republican Women Federated, Republican Club of Laguna Woods, Irvine Republican Council, the Rush Limbaugh Club where she is Secretary, and CRA, Greater Irvine.

She and her husband attend Saddleback Church.

She has received srvice awards in many organizations including Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Rho Pi, California Community College Forensics Association, and the Honors Council of California where she served as President.
