I have been in war. I have been in business. But I'm really more of a philosopher.

I believe that the most important thing in politics is LIBERTY. I believe that the Founding Fathers of America did a great and wonderful thing in establishing the United States of America. For two hundred years, America has been the beacon of LIBERTY for the world. This is a glorious thing.

However, recently, the glory of America has been tarnished. It has been tarnished by undeclared and highly questionable wars. It has been tarnished by reckless financial irresponsibility. And worst, it has been tarnished by sacrificing LIBERTY, our precious traditional American rights, in the name of "national security". LIBERTY is the whole point. If we lose that, we have nothing.

I do not seek to turn back the clock. I seek to recall, to restore, to rejuvenate, to reinvigorate the goal of LIBERTY. The goal of LIBERTY is eternal. It is never old. It is never out of date. It is never old-fashioned.

Whether elected or not, I will do all I can to revitalize the goal of LIBERTY, to give rights to all men, to promote financial responsibility, and to bring honor and integrity to government and to civilization.
