Smart Development for a Balanced TorranceQuite simply + I want to make a difference. I see Torrance as a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Torrance has grown over the years and is facing issues. It seems developers are building new residences on every possible site with maximum density. This is increasing traffic and putting a considerable strain on an ageing infrastructure. Torrance needs to be a balanced community striving to meet the needs of a community. We should not be looking to rezone industrial and commercial properties to high density residential based solely on profitability. We need to address our ageing infrastructure. We need to support the services we have come to expect and enjoy being in Torrance. I am running for Smart Development for a Balanced Torrance. Each situation needs consideration of all the issues and a reasonable approach pursued. I think I am well prepared to do just that for Torrance. I look forward to serving the City of Torrance. |
