First Film Festival held here in Torrance

I have been working on this for the past two years, to hold the First South Bay Film Festival here in Torrance, in hopes to develop a better connection for our youth to Hollywood.
Two years ago, I tried to contact our Cities Art Department in hopes to receive a grant in throwing a Film Festival here in Torrance entitled the South Bay Film Festival. There would require no construction our city already has the facilities to accommodate such an event at the Civic Center. This is a great idea to bring in revenue, and open a door way for citizens in Torrance to Hollywood. As a Film Major graduating from El Camino College, I worked with many fresh students needing a way to express their work to a greater audience.
