Hire more Police Officers. Visibility is the Key.Community Safety is a hot issue in San Leandro for the past year and this year because of some beyond normal incidences where some people and lives fell victims. The continous population growth should add for more police officers. I will highly initiate recommendations and support the hiring of 5 or 10 police officers because visibility is the key in minimizing criminal activities in various areas. Police present itself gives assurance to the public that everything is under control. Community safety is a high-priority so as City programs towards the community, prosperity of local businesses, continous flow of consumers back and forth, and in general the stimulation for economic growth to furthermore build a more stronger City of San Leandro. |
