Questions & Answers

1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?

I have served the citizens of Cupertino for 13 years as a member of the Santa Clara County Board of Education. This public service experience provides invaluable leadership capabilities to the Cupertino City Council.

2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?

Cupertino's excess build up of condominiums has caused overcrowding in schools, and worsened traffic congestion. I would like to collaborate with the school districts to find a comprehensive way to alleviate the school enrollment issue and to resolve traffic situation around various school sites.

3. How would you balance the needs of the City as a whole with groups' interests?

Encouring business growth in both retail and technology sectors will increase city revenues, which in turn will help solve the problems that the city faces.
