Taxes, Growth, and Levels of Service

By Darrell Ruff

Candidate for Council Member; Proposed City of Wildomar

This information is provided by the candidate
I do not support any new taxes, but I do realize that the residents of a community often want higher levels of service. Therefore, that being the case, new taxes may be required (with voter approval).

I wish, as many do, to preserve the rural lifestyle that Wildomar has, but cities need revenue. Under our current city revenue model that means we must have commerical/retail to fund our newley formed city. I will do everything possible to keep revenue & lifestyle needs in balance.

I want to maintain our quality of life (lifestyle) in Wildomar, but we must have suffidient Levels of Service (police and fire for example) to do so. Therefore, an important aspect of the job of City Councilperson is to achieve cost effective Levels of Service for the community. Your feedback will help achieve this balance.
