If elected, I will dedicate my service on the Wallingford-Swarthmore School Board to:
- Emphasizing mastery of core subjects that provide a foundation for life-long learning.
- Working to make sure our curriculum is continuously improved so that our students have the skills they need to succeed in a diverse and changing world.
- Addressing disparities in test scores to ensure that all of our children have the opportunity to achieve their potential.
- Collaborating with administrators, teachers, and fellow school board members to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
- Linking outstanding educational quality and cost-effective spending.
- Allocating finances responsibly and maximizing the value received for every dollar that is spent on behalf of constituents.
- Ensuring a prudent tax structure that allows middle class families and retirees to continue to live in our community.
- Examining demographic data to ensure that current and future building projects meet the long-term needs of our school district.
