My Vision Statement (and long-term goal) for the city is: Cincinnati is a clean, green, safe, inclusive, creative and profitable first-tier city.

My Mission Statement (and immediate work plan) is: To build partnerships and collaborations to accelerate efficiency and innovation in fiscally, ecologically sound, creative practices and programs to provide clean, green and safe neighborhoods for all residents.

My Philosophy of Action: When faced with an opportunity or an issue, I like to hear from others. I read, study, research and gather information to make an informed decision. When possible, I like to experience it myself.

I have visited many cities, including Portland, OR, Savannah, GA, Austin, TX, Ashland, OR, Rising Sun, IN, Charlotte, NC, Nashville, TN, Columbus and Cleveland OH, studying best practices and economic impact of the arts, transportation and destination marketing.
