Political Philosophy for Charles A "Chuck" Heis
Candidate for |
I believe that the fiscal officer is the most important employee to the Crosby Township Board of Trustees. This position has various duties as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. One major duty of this position is the minutes of the board meetings. These minutes must be accurate, timely, and complete for the trustees to keep track of their important proceedings for future references. These minutes must also be available for the public and for the township examinations by the examiners. But the foremost important duty of the fiscal officer is the fiscal responsibilities. The Ohio Revised Code spells these out very clearly in the codes under the legally designated township fiscal officer. This position must keep an accurate record of all township funds and transactions. The fiscal officer must inform and work with the Board of Trustees closely to assure that they have the most timely, complete, and accurate fiscal records. |
