Candidate for
Member Council; City of Wyoming

My husband, Rod and I have been married for 17 years. We have three boys; Adam (13), Jack (10) and Luke (4). Our family actively participates in various school activities and our City's recreation services.

Presently, I am a full time homemaker. Prior to staying home with my children, I held various positions with MCI Telecommunications, including Business Manager to the Vice President of Sales. This position allowed me to gain a broad understanding of complex management and financial issues. In addition to this valuable experience, I was formally trained in federal and state tax codes and tax preparation.

I was appointed to Wyoming City Council in April, 2006. Since that time, I have served on the Historic Preservation Commission, Board of Building & Zoning, and the Recreation Commission. Additionally, I am chairperson of the Streets & Roads Committee. Furthermore, I serve as a member of the Law Committee and Building & Equipment Committee. On a related side note, I am actively involved in Neighbors for Renewal, a citizens' organization that fosters cooperation and communication among the communities in our region.
