1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Answer from C. Curtis Walden:
Having served four terms as Councilman for the fourth ward, and two terms as President of Council, I will bring to the position the experiece needed to fairly and efficiently run counil meetings for the next two years. With two years of important work to improve the City awaiting the next Council, it is very important to have a President of Council with the experience to lead council through the revitalization to come.
Answer from Bill Rice:
My business knowledge and expereince has prepare dme well for this opportunity. I have vast experience in conducting high level meetings, listening to cusotmers and providing ways to meet their needs and managing volunteers. This expereince combined with a knowledge of the city, I beleive will lead me to be successful in this position.
2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

1. I believe all citizens know the council meetings have been well run over the last four years. I will continue that course with fairness to all.
2. Through Cincinnati Housing Partners the City is acquiring multi-family homes in bad shape and converting them into beautiful single family owner occupied homes.
3. An increase in population through better housing will attract new businesses to the City.
Answer from Bill Rice:
1. I wil bring a professional attitude ot running meanings and will enforce the council rules of decourum equally and without exception. This will allow council to keep on task without the bickering.
2.I will work with council the community and the administration to insure that fiscal responsibility is a reality while maintaining our high-levelof services and setting aside funds for improvement.
3.Fully utlize the tools available to improve the current housing stock and continue to look at opportunities for new housing.
