The Board should encourage public participation, have a good filing system, and get the Agendas online.The Board has lost its By-Laws and is formulating new ones. I suggest that the Board revert to the former practice of allowing public comment at the beginning of the meeting and also before each item on the Agenda. The Service Board now has an office in the new Fire Station; it's time to get the filing system set up. It's possible to get the Agenda online and also important Board documents. There should be an email address list to encourage public participation in important matters before the Board. |
