Candidate for
Board Member; Midcoast Community Council

The Midcoast Community Council (MCC) was created to protect the unique, rural quality of the coastside. Because this part of the coast is unincorporated it is dependent on the county government for oversight of growth and creation of the infrastructure. The MCC is an important link in advising the county on issues of concern to the residents.

I would like to participate in a council that is a vibrant part of the community. In order for this to happen there must be participation by the community and consistent attendance by the membersof the council. There must also be a consensus on what issues need to be addressed in the community and communicated to the county government. If I am elected I will work towards creating this. Many residents have no idea that the MCC exists or knows what it is. I think with education and outreach this can be achieved. A vote for me for me on November 6th is a vote for a better community.
