(Re)development Project Success

The success of our redevelopment projects and a successful development of the 15-acres will have a positive impact on the future financial position of our City. The aggregate value of the redeveloped property will increase generating more property tax revenue and in some cases, business tax revenue. Those projects scheduled for retail or office space will bring in workers who will invariably support our local businesses and increase our sales tax revenue.

This rose does come with some thorns that will need to be addressed. These include traffic impact, infrastructure, police, and fire to name a few. All of these issues will require some level of mitigation but none of them is insurmountable.
