Political Philosophy for Rosanne Foust
Candidate for |
I can hardly believe it's been almost four years since I was elected to the City Council in Redwood City. Your support and belief in my ability to make a difference at City Hall made it possible for me to win in 2003. I need that same support and commitment again to help me get re-elected on November 6, 2007. I'm a little older and a lot wiser, but my commitment to you and the values that we share on building a healthy and strong community have not changed. I continue to be guided by the following principles as an elected official:
In 2006 my colleagues on the City Council selected me to be Redwood City's Vice Mayor. I am honored to work side-by-side with Mayor Barbara Pierce and City Manager, Ed Everett, to keep Redwood City moving forward. Being on Council has been a truly rewarding experience for me and one I hope to continue for four more years. I have gained a deeper appreciation for Redwood City, its similarities and differences with other communities, and its deep sense of pride, history, and place in San Mateo County. Please feel free to contact me through my campaign website at Rosanne@rosannefoust.org. In closing, I would appreciate your support and vote this November. |
