The Baylands

Approximately 530 acres of covered dump for San Francisco's debris. Developer purchased the site and wants to develop it.
The Baylands pose major challenges for our small town it will change our town forever.I want to see at least 50% of the area left in open space. We also need a sports complex for soccer and baseball etc. The channel area turmed into passive park.

I want to see the Baylands complement our city not just turn out to be another shopping center.We need to make the Baylands an example of sustainability, a center for renewable energy of all kinds and an example of green building.

We should look into acquiring a hybrid or low emission vehicle to act as a shuttle for our residents to the Baylands. Hopefully making it our contribution to lessening carbon emissions and help global warming.
