1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?
I have extensive experience managing large projects in my profession. I would bring that experience to try to help the city plan for its future and to solve the problems of today.Building a home in Cupertino gave me a lot of direct hands on experience showing me what the average citizens experiences when dealing with the city.
2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?
Open government - I will push for better notification of the citizens of what is going on in the city. The state of the city, budgets, plans, etc. should be made clear to it's people.Traffic Congestion around our Schools - I will push the city to relieve traffic around our schools.
For the People - I will work for the citizens of our city to try to make it a better place for all.
3. How would you balance the needs of the City as a whole with groups' interests?
I believe that elected officials should represent the people, not special interest groups. Since the people elected you, you should be working for them.
