I am pleased to announce that I have received the endorsement of the San Jose Mercury News on Monday, October 29, 2007 and the Sunnyvale Sun on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. In the Sunnyvale Sun endorsement editorial, the Sun criticizes certain individuals for "printing out so called "fact sheets" attacking incumbents with misinformation and half-truths." The fliers "were created for challengers to distribute." Read the editorial for yourself at <http://www.community-newspapers.com/sunnyvale/letters_opinions1.shtml> (10/10/2007 edition) Unfortunately, this means that there is a lot of misinformation being distributed out on the Street.
I have received endorsements from organizations representing a broad spectrum of business, labor, social and environmental interests serving Sunnyvale. I believe that these endorsements demonstrate an understanding of a broad range of issues affecting Sunnyvale and its residents.
I was the ONLY candidate running for Sunnyvale City Council in 2003 to have received all of the following major endorsements and I am happy to report that, again, I am the ONLY candidate in 2007 to receive all of these same endorsements:
