I was born in Los Angeles, California in the year 1947. I grew up in Pacific Palisades and other areas surrounding the City of Los Angeles. I attended Pearce State College and ran track for them. We still hold the track record for the state colleges in the mile relay. It has never been broken to this day. While married I moved to Santa Barbara with my family. My first marriage broke up and after spending some time with my parents I came back to Santa Barbara to attend Santa Barbara City College. I graduated in 1972 with a Certification in Early Childhood Development. I worked for a time in that field here in Santa Barbara. Then for the rest of my time here in Santa Barbara I became a Handyman and did odd jobs. I protested the Diablo Canyon start up and moved on to help the homeless organize a grassroots organization to better themselves both politically and helped teach them to fight for their civil rights. I have always been interested in helping people better themselves. With the help of my girlfriend we have been able to start and see the completion of Transistion House, A more modern Rescue Mission, and the Creation of Casa Esperanza. I am also amazed at the completion of the El Carrillo Apts for the Homeless; the blessings and support the homeless people able to move into this fabulous place have received by such a project. For many years my girlfriend and I lived in a Motor Home on the streets of Santa Barbara. Now I live in an apartment to take advantage of the blessings that Santa Barbara has to offer me. Thank You
