A PROVEN EFFECTIVE LEADER - NOT A POLITICIAN

Leading the City of Palm Springs out of its present quagmire.

I have the knowledge and experience that will allow me to restructure the existing building codes to include Solar. At a recent Solar Expo I learned that I could have Solar installed in all public buildings in Palm Springs at no cost to the City or taxpayers which would be a hugh savings to the City.

I am not endorsed by, nor have I received any money or donations from any special interest groups. I can not be bought, therefore any decision or vote I make as a Mayor will be for the benefit of the resident-citizens and not the developers. I will stop the City from giving money to special interest groups and restore trust and integrity to the City Council.

As a retired CEO and owner of several corporations, I will immediately start efforts for the City to become "business friendly". I will work to keep the existing businesses in the City while encouraging new businesses to come to Palm Springs. I will promote diversified and eco-tourism. I will start a plan to revitalize and clean up down town to encourage tourists to come, shop and stay in Palm Springs.

I will work to ensure all neighborhoods and resident-citizens enjoy a quality of life that all residents deserve.

I am the only candidate for Mayor who is not promising miraculous results for Palm Springs in the years to come in the far distant future or in 2010.I have the following three plans which I will put into effect immediately:

1)I have a plan to help the resident-citizens and businesses:I am promising to help the resident citizens with free purchase vouchers which will help local businesses and increase Palm Springs tax revenue from sales generated with the purchase vouchers. A dollar spent in Palm Springs goes around seven times: The store pays the clerk, the clerk pays a gardner or baby sitter, these recieptants pay for a car, and this continues seven fold. 2)I will help the resident citizens whose home is in foreclsure: I will create a self-suporting department to advise resident citizens who are losing their homes through foreclosure to retain their good credit. 3)I will bring revenue into Palm Springs: I will require all of the currently outsourced City vendors to retain a licensed office in Palm Springs (which would hire local residents and pay rent to local businesses). I will also require these vendors to bank at a licensed local Palm Springs bank.

As a CEO and Owner of many successful corporations, I am a proven effective leader. Palm Springs City is a Corporation. I will not allow partisan polities to drive my agenda. I will ensure that all agendas presented to the City will benefit the City and it's resident-citizens and not the politicians.
