  • 30+ years experience in fire fighting, both volunteer and paid
  • Served as President of Carmel Highlands Volunteer Fire Department for 8 years
  • Currently a Fire Captain with City of San Jose Fire Department
  • BS from UC Berkeley, Masters in Public Administration coursework completed at San Jose State University
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Ensure the continuation of high level of service
  • Work to heal wounds left over from the consolidation process
  • Effectively represent the numerous interest groups in the policy making process
