I ran for this board the last election and received 2,000+ votes. Altough I didn't win at that time the board later had a vacancy and needed to appoint someone to the board. I assumed that since I had ran for that board and that 2,000+ community members believed I should be on the board, that the members woud have me appointed. However that was not the CASE. So believe the best thing for the fire board is to elect all new members and stop what I believe is a good old boy type system! |
