My name is Rocio Gonzalez-Hunt, I am a proud parent of two honor students who attend Chualar School. I have a personal investment in the educational opportunities of all our children. I pledge to you I'll work closely with school administration, staff, students and parents to improve our children's test scores. We need to train and retain our good teachers and aggressively seek out resources that will help to increase student academic improvement at all levels. Working together we can better our children's future. Again, I humbly request your vote and support for Chualar School Trustee. I am proud to have attended and graduated from Chualar School. As a Chualar resident, I have been involved in our community's needs. As a trustee, I have first hand experience of our students needs. I serve on the Salinas Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Salinas Valley board and have developed numerous resources. I have been a member of the Chualar Parent Club, and School Site Council. I also am a member of numerous other community projects. Now, as a concerned community parent I actively am involved and focused on our children's needs and desires to obtain a quality education. |
