Diane Creasey has volunteered in numerous ways to support schools serving Marina students over the last 10 years.

• Serving on PTA boards each of the last 10 years in schools serving Marina students

• Helped raise over $80,000 through grants and fundraising for Marina Schools from 1996-2006 supporting music, recreation, school libraries, technology, and science education.

• Working through Marina's PTAs, helped develop partnerships with local foundations and service organizations including: The Monterey Peninsula Foundation, The Chapman Foundation, The Community Foundation of Monterey County, Slaughterbach Corporation, the Yellow Brick Road, Rondald Mc Donald Charities, The Educational Foundation for MPUSD, and The Marina Rotary.

• Served on the GATEKEEPERS Board (Gifted & Talented Education) 1999-01.

• Served on the Monterey High School Academy of Ocenographic Science Friends of (MAOS) Board 2005-2007.

• Participated over 15 months as a committee member in developing the Strategic Plan for MPUSD.
