FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
As Co-Chair of last year's successful Measure G Campaign,
I want to ensure that our tax dollars are spent as directed
by the voters. We need to perpetually reevaluate budget
priorities, making sure to keep students and school
personnel a priority while maintaining a sound budget.
CURRICULUM REFORM
Our students need choices and opportunities to take
elective classes beyond their academic requirements.
Music, athletics, yearbook, and drama, for example, are
classes we should be making available within the school
day. I will work to achieve these opportunities for our students.
PARTNERSHIPS
Lack of communication has often hindered progress for
our District. As a former teacher and PFC President, I will
work to open the lines of communication both within our
District and with our local cities, in order to achieve better
cooperation among parents, teachers, administrators and
our communities.
