Tough on Crime is a Mild TermCRIME A Congressman Evans believes that the purpose of government itself is based on a social compact to protect our citizens from violence. Those who commit crime must face the certainty of punishment. Crime victims and their families are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect in the criminal justice process. Evans has proposed a 1-Strike 50 Year Prison Term for Sex Child Molestation Crimes and 1-Strike 25 Year Prison Term for Adult Rape of a Women. A Congressman Evans will bring proposals to limit the abuse of the criminal appeals process have been enacted into law in the 109th Congress and he is committed to continue the fight on behalf of those who have been victimized by crime. HOMELAND SECURITY A Congressman Evans will join the Congress in order to help fight the war against terrorism. Evans experience gained as Member of the 1/10th Air Cav, US Army and a Crisis Management Consultant provide him with unique qualifications for this task. A Congressman Evans will worked tirelessly to protect the American people. |
