ROBERT RODRIGUEZ A 50-year resident of Riverside, I’ve been married for 21 years. I attended Riverside City schools and Riverside Community College. After enlisting in the U.S. Army, I spent 18 months in Vietnam. As a fighting soldier, I witnessed injustice and the absence of law and order first-hand. I love my country, but we must return to the Judeo-Christian values, absolute truth, and moral decency that have made us strong, if we expect to maintain the lifestyle and God-given freedoms we cherish. If I am elected, I will work hard, on your behalf, to: Improve public safety and transportation, Improve traffic conditions, Crack down on traffic violations, Control spending, Stop eminent domain and Protect our young people and care for the elderly. Two of the most important privileges of U.S. citizenship are the right to vote and the opportunity for ordinary, concerned citizens to seek public office. I have a healthy fear and respect of the awesome task before me: the chance to make a difference in my community. I urge you to exercise your responsibility of citizenship, by casting your ballot on June 5. I would be humbled and honored to have |
