EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

I believe in improving the quality of life for the residents of Ward 5. I’m committed to using tax dollars more effectively. We must deal now with the growing problem of traffic congestion, and we must develop an infrastructure that keeps pace with growth.

Government’s primary responsibility is the safety and security of the people, and I am wholly committed to those resources, police and fire, that serve us every day. By eliminating wasteful spending we can improve necessary services without raising taxes. We especially have an important obligation to our seniors in this regard.

Riverside is my life-long home. I’ve participated in many civic and charitable activities and demonstrated my leadership capabilities on numerous boards and committees, including the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce.

I graduated from Riverside City College and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands. I am vice president of a local credit union. I have the experience and ability to get things done.
