EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

On June 5th we have the opportunity for a fresh start in Ward 7. Traffic problems, crime and unemployment are issues that we know too well.

Whether it’s addressing street racing or property crimes, we deserve better representation. We deserve a representative that understands our challenges and is committed to working on them. I am committed to serving the residents of Ward 7.

We need to develop lasting educational and job creation partnerships with our local schools, unions and community colleges to create vocational and apprenticeship programs that will give our children better options than turning to crime.

As a supporter of Proposition R and Measure C, I believe in responsible development. We need to refocus our efforts and work on building a sustainable future. That is why I want to start improving our local environment by planting 1,000 free trees in Ward 7 using the youth of this ward to help. It is not a complete solution to bad air or juvenile delinquency, but it is a start. We deserve better! It’s time for a fresh start!
