ART GAGE These last four years I’ve had the honor to represent you on the City Council. During that time increased resources have been spent to relieve traffic, the Riverside Plaza has been revitalized, new fire stations opened, more police hired, and the budget is balanced. I’m seeking re-election to build on these accomplishments and continue working on your behalf to solve traffic problems, improve the quality of life, and hold city government accountable to the people. Traffic is our greatest challenge. I’ve worked to reduce congestion by synchronizing stop lights, widening key streets, and stopping city road construction during rush hours. I’m currently working on building overpasses at the railroad crossings on Magnolia and Jurupa Avenues. City Hall must always be held accountable to the people. When the city was facing a budget shortfall, I told the truth about the deficit. To protect private property rights, I’ve supported a law to prevent the taking of single family homes for development when the homeowners live there. Riverside is a great city and working together we can accomplish many great things. I would be honored to have your vote to continue serving as your City Councilman.
