I am a homeowner in Darby Borough and I reside at 206 Highland Avenue. I am the father of two lovely daughters, Soledad and Sonia. I am a member of Mount Zion AME Church in Darby. I am seeking the Office of Magisterial District Judge. I was a Sergeant in the Yeadon Police Department and I recently retired after 25 years. My experience in both District Court and Common Pleas Court over the years is extensive and I ensured that Justice was served and individuals rights were protected in thousands of cases. Now I feel it's time to sit on the other side of the Bench and continue that service for the residents of Darby. My Goal To Seek justice, Foster public trust and confidence in an independent judiciary, Provide high quality courteous service to all users of the Darby District Court by processing cases and resolving disputes in a manner that reflects my commitment to open access to the courts, fairness, impartiality, administrative efficiency, fiscal responsibility and public accountability. Exercised direct command in a manner that ensured the good order, conduct, discipline and efficiency of subordinates. Enforced departmental rules and regulations and ensured compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Was responsible for inspection of activities, personnel equipment and initiation of suitable action in the event of a failure, error, violation, misconduct or negligence on the part of any subordinate. Assumed the command and direction of police personnel in such a manner as to assure the most orderly and efficient accomplishment of the police task. At times, was responsible for conducting preliminary investigations establishing the reports as factual, protecting the crime scenes, making proper notifications, arrest the perpetrators, detain and identify witnesses and safeguard evidence.
