I am running for a third three year term and have enjoyed my previous seven years immensely (The first year I replaced an ill trustee). I have a strong commitment to providing the children of Dobbs Ferry with the highest quality education possible within our financial realities today.
I believe I am qualified based on my experience: as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner (The health and safety of our children is critical); as an educator (I am a former nursing professor at Pace); as a parent (Our kids have been in the district for 13 years); and finally as a board member (Experience is increasingly more important as NYS has significantly ramped up the financial expertise needed to be a trustee).
