I am running because I believe that I am an advocate for not just the kids in our district, but an advocate for providing tools that both they and their teachers need to insure that our kids are well prepared for life in the 21st century. This underscores the need to focus on global studies, and to teach the use of emerging technology to both create and communicate, in addition to the more "traditional" avenues of study.

I bring a professional life steeped in the bleeding edge of technology together with running a small business for over 20 years. I also bring a personal involvement and history of support and appreciation for all that a public school can potentially deliver to its "clients," the kids.
