Full Biography for James P. "Jamie" Cordaro
Candidate for |
Jamie has lived in Van Nuys for the past 20-years with his lovely bride Leslie. They both love animals, and have dogs and cats all of which are rescued. They are both still very active in animal rescue. Jamie has been a licensed electrical contractor for 19 years operating All Phase Electrical Systems in Van Nuys. His successful operation provides top notch quality electrical services throughout Southern California. No stranger to volunteering, he has always helped in the community. Working within the family restaurant Jamie was called upon to assist with community sponsorships and events like the Midget Football program, 5 K and 10 K runs and local organizations such like the Jaycees, Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, the Rotary Club and Chambers of Commerce. His dedication to the community includes giving countless hours of his time removing graffiti, community cleanups, median beautification, and supporting local charitable events like giving gift baskets to the needy at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and painting classrooms and installing data cables at local elementary schools. Jamie is also a past President of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce, a past President of the Van Nuys Rotary, and the current President of the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council. His record of getting involved in the community stands on its own. He is not afraid to face challenges head on. He sees every task through to the end, long after others have stopped trying.
